The National
eLearning Center and Faculty
Instructional Technology Support (FITS)
invite applications for faculty members and staff from liberal arts
institutions who are skilled in the use of technology in teaching
to work in residence at DePauw.

Visiting
FITS 361°Fellows
These competitive
grants offer summer stipends or sabbatical matching grants for
faculty members wishing to complete their own IT projects at DePauw.
Visiting FITS
Fellows spend time in residence at DePauw to work on instructional
technology projects with Faculty
Instructional Technology Support (FITS).
FITS
projects are diverse in scope and topic, varying from just-in-time
consulting with clients to extensive, team-based course development
projects. Types of FITS projects in which the Visiting Faculty
FITS Fellows may be involved include:
- Consulting
with faculty members who are developing methods and techniques
for using technology in teaching
- Participating
in workshops, forums and seminars about instruction and teaching
for faculty
- Developing
web and multimedia materials for courses
- Researching
new technology options (hardware and software) related to teaching
and education

Visiting
FITS 361° Instructional Technologists
spend time in residence working cooperatively with Faculty
Instructional Technology Support (FITS)
either as contributors to FITS or as explorers of DePauw's eLearning
projects and processes. Visits, which may range from a few days
to a few weeks, will be project-driven with projects that are
tailored to the needs of the host institution and DePauw.
